    Day 1

We leave at 6:45 AM in our bus equipped with bathroom and DVD equipment. On the way to our destination we make a stop for an exquisite breakfast at the Rinconcito Latino. Later we arrived at the city of Ybor City, a historic neighborhood in Tampa, located northeast of downtown, founded in the 1880s by Vicente Martínez-Ybor and other cigar manufacturers and was populated by thousands of immigrants, mainly from Cuba, Spain and Italy. For the next 50 years, Ybor City's cigar factory workers rolled out hundreds of millions of cigars per year. The cigar industry employed thousands of well-paid workers, helping Tampa grow from an economically depressed village to a bustling city in about 20 years and giving it the nickname "Cigar City." It is a city known for its boutiques and shops on 7th Avenue, which is also home to Cuban and Latin American restaurants. The Centro Ybor shopping center offers fast food, bars and a movie theater. We have the Ybor State Museum which has exhibits about the cigar industry and the area's immigrant communities. The GAYBOR district around 7th Avenue and 15th Street draws a diverse crowd to its bars and clubs. Later, we go to the hotel and at night visit the pier in the city of Saint Petersburg where you will have several options for dinner.

It is known for its pleasant climate (hence its nickname “City of the Sun”), which makes it popular for golfing, boating, fishing and going to the beach. That day we will enjoy the beach. At night we will have dinner at a Buffet with delicious Cuban food (not included in the price). Later we will go to the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
