Day 1. Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Miami. Departure of your flight from Miami to Sofia. Please request prices for departures from the following cities: Orlando, Tampa, Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Chicago, Houston, New York, Newark, Washington DC, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, among others.

Day 2. Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Sofia. Welcome to Bulgaria! After your arrival at Sofia International Airport, you will be transferred to the hotel. Free time and overnight stay.

3Day 3
Day 3. Thursday, October 9, 2025. Sofia. You will receive information to start your tour. Around 3:00 p.m. (subject to change), we will include a visit to the capital of Bulgaria. We will visit Alexander Nevski Cathedral (admission included), the Russian church, the mosque, and its squares and Stalinist-style avenues. Free time afterward. Overnight in Sofia.

4Day 4
Day 4. Friday, October 10, 2025. Sofia – Bachkovo – Plovdiv. We will leave in the morning for the BACHKOVO MONASTERY, Bulgaria’s second-largest monastery, founded in the 11th century, with its three churches and monastic life. A peaceful place. We continue to PLOVDIV. Lunch included before beginning the tour of one of the oldest cities in Europe. Entrance to the Roman Amphitheater, the old Apothecary, and the Armenian House included. Overnight in Plovdiv.

5Day 5
Day 5. Saturday, October 12, 2025. Plovdiv – Kazanlak – Shipka – Etara – Arbanassi – Veliko Tarnovo. Today’s journey takes us through beautiful landscapes across the Balkan Mountains. In the Valley of the Roses, we visit KAZANLAK, where we include entrance to the replica of the Thracian tomb (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and learn about rose-based product production. In the mountains, we stop at the Russian church of SHIPKA, commemorating the Russo-Turkish War. In ETARA, we arrive at this charming ethnographic village-museum. Lunch included. Afterward, we head to ARBANASSI, a former merchant town with fortress-like homes where we visit the Church of the Nativity (admission included). Arrival in VELIKO TARNOVO, Bulgaria’s former capital, with a picturesque medieval center by a gorge. Note: In some cases, the visit to Arbanassi may take place Sunday morning.

6Day 6
Day 6. Sunday, October 12, 2025. Veliko Tarnovo – Basarbovo – Bucharest. We travel to Romania, stopping at the MONASTERY OF DIMITAR BASARBOVSKI, a pilgrimage site carved into the rock. We cross the border over the Danube River. Arrival in BUCHAREST around 1:00 p.m., followed by free time for lunch before a panoramic tour of the city, including the old town and the gigantic Palace of the Parliament. Free time. Dinner included.

7Day 7
Day 7. Monday, October 13, 2025. Bucharest – Sinaia – Bran – Sighisoara. A scenic day as we travel to Transylvania through the Carpathians, among forests and mountains. In SINAIA, we’ll stroll through the gardens of Peles and Pelisor Castles. We continue to the 14th-century BRAN fortress, known as “Dracula’s Castle” (admission included). Time for lunch. We continue to SIGHISOARA, a beautiful walled medieval town and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tonight, we include a special dinner at Count Dracula’s restaurant, in the house where Vlad Tepes was born.

8Day 8
Day 8. Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Sighisoara – Biertan – Sibiu – Hunedoara – Timisoara. Transylvania has many fortified churches in areas once inhabited by people of German origin, and some have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will visit one of them: BIERTAN (admission included). Then we continue to SIBIU, an important economic and cultural center and former capital of Transylvania, with lively streets, plazas, and alleys. Free time to walk and have lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the impressive HUNEDOARA Castle (admission included), considered the most beautiful in Romania. Continue to TIMISOARA, where you’ll have time to stroll through the elegant central squares.

9Day 9
Day 9. Wednesday, October 15, 2025. Timisoara – Belgrade. We depart for Serbia, crossing the border. After less than three hours of travel, we arrive in BELGRADE. Panoramic tour of this vibrant capital located on the banks of the Danube River at its confluence with the Sava. We’ll admire the city center, the parliament, and walk through the Kalemegdan Fortress. We also include a visit to the Museum of Yugoslavia, where Tito’s Mausoleum is located. Free afternoon.

Day 10. Thursday, October 16, 2025. Belgrade. Breakfast at the hotel. Free day in Belgrade for personal activities and to continue exploring this charming Serbian capital.
