Day 2. Monday, September 15, 2025. Lisbon. Welcome to Lisbon! Upon arrival, you will be greeted and transferred to the hotel. You can leave your bags in the lobby and enjoy a Portuguese-style breakfast until check-in. Remainder of the day at leisure. Accommodation in Lisbon.

3Day 3
Day 3. Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Lisbon. In the morning, we will take a panoramic tour of the city, during which we will discover the Portuguese capital of the 7 hills, the narrow streets and tiles, the "saudade" (saudade), and the Atlantic light. We will also visit the Belem neighborhood, from where the great Portuguese navigators who crossed the oceans in the 15th century departed. Free afternoon to stroll and visit the Bairro Alto and its viewpoint. If you wish, you can take an optional excursion to the towns of Sintra, Cascais, and Estoril. In the evening, we return from the lively Restauradores Square with its bars and cafes to the hotel.

Day 4. Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Lisbon – Fátima – Porto. We travel to the north of Portugal. We visit FÁTIMA, an important sanctuary. We continue to OPORTO, Portugal's second city. After lunch, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of this coastal city at the mouth of the Douro River, with its cobblestone streets and colorful houses, known for its imposing bridges and delicious wines. A visit to ancient wineries is included. Free time.

Day 5. Thursday, September 18, 2025. Porto – Sanctuary of Bom Jesus – Cambados – Santiago de Compostela. Today we travel through beautiful landscapes. In the city of Braga, we take the oldest funicular in the world to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus, offering stunning views. We suggest walking down to admire its beautiful staircase. We continue our journey to Galicia; in the Rías Bajas, we visit the historic city of Cambados. We include a glass-bottom boat ride where we will learn how mussels and oysters are produced, with wine and mussel tasting included. After lunch, we arrive in Santiago de Compostela. An afternoon tour with a local guide is included in this city, visited by millions of pilgrims since the Middle Ages.

6Day 6
Day 6. Friday, September 19, 2025. Santiago de Compostela – Lugo – O Cebreiro – León – Oviedo. We travel along the "Camino de Santiago." In LUGO, we have time to explore its historic center and the Roman walls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On our route, we stop in O CEBREIRO, a small Galician stone village. We arrive in LEÓN, already in Castile, at lunchtime. We will have time to visit the Gothic cathedral with its stained-glass windows and stroll through the center of this beautiful historic city. We then cross the Cantabrian Mountains, traveling toward Asturias. We arrive in OVIEDO in the mid-afternoon. We include (sometimes the following morning) a one-and-a-half-hour city tour with a local guide. We will visit the 9th-century cathedral, the Calatrava Palace, the Campoamor Theater, and Calle de la Rúa.

Day 7. Saturday, September 20, 2025. Oviedo – Covadonga – Santillana del Mar – Santander. We travel to the Picos de Europa Mountains. Amidst beautiful landscapes, we visit the Basilica of Covadonga. We continue along the sea to SANTILLANA, one of the most beautiful villages in Spain with its intact medieval center. Nearby, we visit the ALTAMIRA CAVES Museum (admission included). Later, we travel to SANTANDER, the regional capital, a maritime city with stunning views of mountains and beaches. We include a panoramic tour with a local guide to discover this elegant coastal city and its beautiful bay. NOTE: From April to mid-October, due to high occupancy, some groups will be accommodated in Bilbao.

Day 8. Sunday, September 21, 2025. Santander – Bilbao – Guernica – San Sebastián. We follow the highway along the Cantabrian coast. Some of the landscapes between the mountains and the sea are of great beauty. Bilbao, arrival in the largest city in the Basque Country. With a local guide, we take a city tour, highlighting the Guggenheim Museum with its striking exterior architecture and the Old Town, a medieval center with its lively streets and cathedral. Free time for strolling and lunch. We recommend the La Ribera Market, which offers stalls selling typical Basque cuisine in a boat-like structure located facing the river. After lunch, we depart for Guernica, known as the site of one of the worst massacres of the Spanish Civil War, commemorated in Pablo Picasso's painting. Here you will find the Guernica tree, under whose branches the Basque Country was granted autonomy in the Middle Ages. We continue to HONDARRIBIA (Fuenterrabía), with its beaches, its walls, its seaside atmosphere, and its historic center, where the grid-like layout of its narrow, cobblestone streets is surprising. Time in the historic center. Continue to SAN SEBASTIAN, arriving in the late afternoon. We suggest exploring the "Parte Vieja" (Old Town), famous for its lively pintxo bars and vibrant atmosphere, a popular destination for food lovers. Each establishment has its own specialty and style, making exploring and trying different pintxos an exciting and delicious experience.

Day 9. Monday, September 22, 2025. San Sebastián – Burgos – Madrid. In the morning, after admiring the beautiful views over San Sebastián Bay from Mount Igueldo, we will head to Miramar Palace and its beautiful gardens. Free time afterward to enjoy the city's large beach or stroll along its boulevards. We suggest lunch in the "Parte Vieja," famous for its pintxo bars. In the early afternoon, we travel on a highway with beautiful landscapes toward Castile. BURGOS, spend time in the historic center, where the Burgos Cathedral stands out, a jewel of the Gothic style. We continue to MADRID, arriving at the end of the day.

Day 10. Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Madrid. Breakfast at the hotel. Free day to begin your exploration at the majestic Royal Palace, where you can appreciate its opulence and beautiful gardens. Then, for art lovers, we recommend a visit to the Prado Museum to contemplate masterpieces by artists such as Velázquez and Goya. End your day in the Plaza Mayor, enjoying tapas in one of its cozy restaurants. Overnight in Madrid.
