Day 2. Sunday, December 26, 2021, Istanbul. Welcome to Turkey! Upon arrival at Istanbul airport, you will be greeted by a Spanish-speaking assistant, then we will proceed with the transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Day 3. Monday, December 27, 2021 Istanbul - Historical Visit (B). Breakfast. full day visit to the magnificent city of Istanbul knowing in the historical part the Basilica of Hagia Sophia, culmination of Byzantine art, and the pearl of Istanbul; We will also visit the famous Topkapi Palace, residence of the Ottoman sultans for four centuries, including the treasure and sacred relics. At noon we will enjoy a typical lunch in a local restaurant in the Sultanahmet area and we will continue with the visit to the Blue Mosque, a prodigy of harmony, proportion and elegance; and the Hippodrome that preserves the Obelisk of Theodosius, the Serpentine Column, the Fountain of Emperor William and the Egyptian Obelisk. At the end of the afternoon we will visit the famous Grand Bazaar where we will enjoy free time to lose ourselves among its 4 thousand shops. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Day 4. Tuesday, December 28, 2021, Istanbul - Flight - Cappadocia (B / D). Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to the airport to board a domestic flight to Cappadocia. Arrive and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and Accommodation.
Day 5. Wednesday, December 29, 2021 Cappadocia (B / D). Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of this fascinating region and original landscape, formed by the lava thrown by the Erciyes and Hasan volcanoes 3 million years ago. We will visit the Göreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex made up of rock-cut churches with beautiful frescoes. Next, we will visit the Avcilar Valley and the Pasabagi and Gόvercinlik Valleys where we can admire the best view of the volcanic forms called "fairy chimneys". We will visit the typical workshops of Onix and Turquoise carpets and stones. Dinner at the hotel and accommodation.
Day 6. Thursday, December 30, 2021 Cappadocia - Konya - Pamukkale (B / D). Breakfast at the hotel. Early departure to Konya, capital of the Seleucid sultans. Where we will visit the Mausoleum of Mevlana poet and philosopher who founded the mystical and religious sect of the Dervishes. Continuation of the trip to Pamukkale. Arrival and visit to Hierapolis, an ancient Hellenistic city that today is in ruins. Visit to the famous Cotton Castle, a natural wonder of gigantic white waterfalls, stalactites and Natural Pools formed over the centuries by the passage of waters loaded with calcareous salts from hot springs. Day 7. Friday, December 31, 2021 Pamukkale - Ephesus - Izmir - Flight - Istanbul (B / D). Breakfast at the hotel. Morning departure to Ephesus Greco-Roman city, ancient capital of Asia Minor and one of the best preserved from antiquity where the Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Trajan, the theater and the Library of Celsus are located. Visit to the House of the Virgin Mary, where he spent the last years of his life. Day 8. Saturday, January 1, 2022, Istanbul - Walk along the Bosphorus - Spice Bazaar (B). Breakfast. Departure for one of the most famous activities in Istanbul, a boat trip on the Bosphorus, the channel that separates Europe and Asia. During this journey you will appreciate the palaces of the Sultans, old and typical wooden houses and enjoy history in a different way. Next, we will make one of the star visits, the spice bazaar, established by the Ottomans 5 centuries ago and used since then. Our included visit ends at the bazaar where you can enjoy its atmosphere and variety of shops.
