    Day 5

Day 4. Monday, November 10, 2025. Tokyo – Mount Fuji – Kawaguchiko. We travel to the beautiful Mount Fuji area. Enjoy scenic landscapes along the way. Our first stop is Arakurayama Sengen Park with its beautiful pagodas, offering the most iconic views of Mount Fuji. We then proceed to Kawaguchiko, an idyllic town of quaint houses, flowers, and mountains beside a beautiful lake. Upon arrival, we will visit the Fuji Sengen Shrine, a magical place among tall trees, which traditionally marked the beginning of the pilgrimage to the mountain. We give thanks at the shrine for being able to visit this magical location. We then include a pleasant boat ride on Lake Kawaguchiko. Later, we ascend Mount Fuji via a road that takes us to the "fifth station," reaching an altitude of 2,305 meters amid spectacular forests and views. Return to Kawaguchiko with free time to stroll along the lake. We will stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn); enjoy the onsen (public bath). Dinner included. NOTE: In winter, the route up Mount Fuji is often closed due to snow or weather conditions; in such cases, we will reach as far as authorized. At the Ryokan, some rooms are Japanese-style with tatami mats, and others are Western-style. Occasionally, accommodations may be provided in a Western-style hotel.
